How We Clean

Our standard cleaning procedure is meant to maintain the cleanliness of your home on a broad scale. If there is anything extra you’d like cleaned that you do not see here, please let us know at your walk through!

OUR STANDARD PROCEDURE
this is what we will accomplish during each session

  • Dust all exposed and easily accessible surfaces (we will skip very cluttered surfaces to avoid damaging your possessions and keepsakes)

  • Dust mop and wet mop all exposed hard floors, including stairs

  • Edge and vacuum all exposed carpeting, including stairs

  • BY REQUEST ONLY: Vacuum furniture

  • BY REQUEST ONLY: Make beds and/or change sheets

  • BY REQUEST ONLY: Consolidate and take out trash/recycling

  • Bathroom: Scrub bathtub/shower, scrub sink, clean toilet (inside of bowl, outside of bowl and tank, base), clean all exposed surfaces, clean mirrors, wet mop floor

  • Kitchen: Clean stove top and front of oven, scrub sink, clean all exposed countertops and surfaces, spot clean cabinets and drawers, wipe down front of refrigerator and dishwasher, clean inside and front of microwave, vacuum and wet mop floor

ROTATING TASKS
these are tasks we will address periodically

  • High dusting (including ceiling fans and easily accessible light fixtures. If you’d like to provide a step stool, we can go higher!)

  • Dusting baseboards

  • Wiping down switch plates

WE DO NOT CLEAN

  • Dishes. If your kitchen sink is full of dirty dishes, we will move them while we scrub your sink and then put them back in the sink when we are finished.

  • Windows and blinds. We can add this service if you’d like! Shoot us an email with your request so we can schedule extra time or make it a rotating task.

  • Walls. We can add this service if you’d like! Shoot us an email with your request so we can schedule extra time or make it a rotating task.

  • We do not organize or put away legos/toys/laundry/dishes/other items left out. But if tidying up is priority for you, let us know and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.

 
 

The Details

  • Our regular rate is $60/hour (includes tax) and we have a $150 minimum

  • We offer bi-weekly and monthly regular appointments.
